A little about
The National Parks
Although Yellowstone (the first park) was established in 1872, it wasn’t until 1916 when the National Park Service was established by Woodrow Wilson. Since then the NPS has been caring for the parks by preserving the beautiful landscapes and historical facts within. Their care even extends beyond just the parks- they also care for many national monuments and historical sites across the U.S. Without their help, these beautiful and vast lands may not be as preserved as they are today.
There are 63 National Parks within the U.S. which stand as the ‘crown jewels’ of America due to their unique and alluring landscapes.
